This is the concept perspective of Vietnam Veterans Memorial. The designer used an art way to express her design idea. The image looks like a abstract painting. The background is simple and fuzzy that gives people a calm and solemn feelings. And let people focus on the main design —- the black wall.
The first image attracts me a lot at first sight. Because its special colors. The light comes from the background. The white, black ,and dark green create a unique visual effect. I think if it is a landscape design perspectives it is not a good work because of its view. This view does not show enough details for people. It just use special colors to create space that has a little mystical.
The second perspective chose a good view and shows more details. I can see what happens in the front and what happens at the back. This perspective uses real enough trees, people and other elements. So when I see this perspective, I can easily imagine what it looks like in real site.
The place that the last one appeal to me is the using of the white(at the left front of the last image). It uses white to show the road. Looking at the image, many place at left is white. It dose not made the perspective boring, on the contrary, the white place makes the perspective is not too full(full of details). It makes the perspective interesting.
I found this image on websites. It attracts me because of the simple colors. The simple colors gives people a comfortable feeling.
For the hand drawing, it creates a three dimensional space. The trees nearby us are bigger and have more details. The trees away from us are more simple that the nearby trees. The same as the buildings and people. And also, It used white , black and yellow to create the light and shadow. So the drawing does not looks flat. Conversely, it is clearly to see what happens in the picture.
This is Manhattan’s Highline Park. It is an urban reclamation exercise. 1980s ‘s old rail line was demolition. The government decided to save this place and then created this green park.
From this image, the green plants grow from the concrete pavings, and in the further place are the city buildings. Those concrete buildings shows a whole feeligs of the city or industrial things, but to the fore, the park landscape details like: benches, side walkroad..create a relaxed slowly space. Especially the green plants which grow up from the crack , the plants is in sharp contrast to this conrete pavings and also the images backgrounds(concrete buildings). This comparison emphasizes the green’s existing and also give me a feeling of rebirth.
The first image is a building with a lot of ordered blocks, everything has its own situation and quite. The second image shows a disordered condition: the people, computer, desks all the things are clutter. It seems that all the things can connect randomly.
The thing I like most in this image is the design of the roof. The roof create an interesting about the light and the shade. And this kind of design made the relationship between the place that people live and the outside natural landscape are more closed.
fountain, plants, stable, colorful walls and birds create the landscape that looks more that a drawing picture. The thing I like it is that is the ungeneral contrast: flat rigid walls and the natural elements(birds, water, plants), the moving water in the front and the static walls, stable. Because of the lots of the walls, the landscape gives me very quiet feelings but the active colors brings the life that full of imagination to this site.

There is a island only with two trees. Most of other part use a grey brush to create a slur scene. All the things are slur except the front isolated island and especially the two trees. This image gives me a dismal feelings. Those slur things like a kind of moving things and the trees on the island is the immobile things. Because of the contradictions of the deficiency and excess, my attention is always on the embodied island.
